Dining out is all about the experience for us. A place that takes you somewhere new and is worth talking about again and again. Who doesn't love the sound of that?
Last week we had a date night in Detroit with a visit to contemporary fast casual American Chinese restaurant, Peterboro. Peterboro is located in Detroit's Chinatown, which is often overlooked in this city. But since the opening of Peterboro this area is starting to attract a ton of traffic...and hungry humans!
Peterboro has got this contemporary American Chinese cuisine thing nailed! Very simple, classic, flavor forward dishes that are sure to please most anyone with a solid palate. And the best thing is all dishes are made to share, so you and your group have room on the table for more!
WHAT WE SHARED (AND LOVED)
- Typhoon Shelter Shrimp
- Bao (bun) of the day // what's not to love about a daily feature
- Crispy Eggplant
- Almond Boneless Chicken
- General Wong's Chicken
A FEW THINGS WE CAN'T WAIT TO TRY NEXT TIME
- Crab Rangoon
- Ginger Steamed Salmon
- Garlic Spinach
So if you live in Metro Detroit, or are visiting our beautiful city soon, be sure to check out Peterboro.
